Doug’s been a passionate advocate of web performance for a decade, especially at the intersection of video and images. A Google Developer Expert and the author of O’Reilly’s “High Performance Android Apps,” Doug regularly speaks at conferences, and blogs at dougsillars.com. He is currently the Head of Developer Relations at api.video.

He is an international digital nomad, having traveled the world for the last 5 years with his family, while building a reputation as a prolific speaker, writer and leader in his fields.
